I personally don’t like the Ranks term. It implies a military organization where one may not exist. I realize WOW is all about battle, but our guild doesn’t focus exclusively on that area of the game, but also non-martial things such as crafting, gathering, etc… I prefer to call these “Roles” in my mind. I call them ranks here as everyone knows them as Ranks. In the guild, they are around how long people have been members, their Guild Reputation, and their level of contribution (helpfulness).
This is where everyone starts. Here people are uncategorized and spend a little while here until we can get an idea of how they fit it. We ask all New Friends to attend a “New Member” meeting– either online or in the game (see /calendar). We ask that you do that before adding any alts to the guild.
New friends that are idle for over 30 days will be auto booted.
Permissions: Guild chat. Access to the first tab of the guild bank. Deposit only.
Members of our Family –
People are set here after they attend a New Member meeting. They understand what the guild expects of them, and how everything works, and are on board. Most toons will be at this role. Alts are welcome from here on out.
If you have an issue, find a Colleague who is on and ask them about it. If they can’t help you, they will point you in the proper direction.
Members that are idle for over 60 days will be auto booted. Please login at least once every 60 days to avoid this.
Permissions: People at this rank can invite new guild members with the /ginvite command. Guild bank repairs, 50g per day. Access to the first tab of the guild bank up to 8 withdrawals per day. Access to the second & third tabs – up to 4 withdrawals per day.
How to be promoted: Any role past here requires manual council action. One of the ways the council members serve the guild is to try to “sort” all the guild members into the proper role based on where they are with the guild. As people grow into larger roles in the guild, the council will update their in-game Role to match that. An alternative method if you think you have the wrong role associated with you, send us an email and let us know where you think you belong, and long with why.
Team Players –
Colleagues are social Members who like working/playing with others. They often group with each other for play, help each other with quests, enjoy talking in guild chat, using the online Community, and the Discord Server.
People who have this role regularly group with other guild members & use the guild Discord server.
If you have an issue, find a Mentor who is on and ask them about it. If they can’t help you, they will point you in the proper direction.

The Helpers of the Bard- Give feedback and helps to implement the structure –
These are Mentors who participate and share the administration of the guild equally. They keep a lookout on who’s on and what they are doing. If someone seems to be in the wrong role, they make a note, and bring it up with the other council members — if there is consensus, they rerank the person to the proper rank.
People who have this role, in addition to the previous roles, are regularly on during peak times, responsive if issues from up from other guild members in-game are knowledgeable about the guild structure are always willing to help out, even if it means staying on a little longer than they intended.
